I had the pleasure of singing with Chicago Opera Theater for two seasons, and now I have the distinct honor of returning this spring to run a seminar!

COT truly stays on the cutting-edge of opera evolution both in terms of the production and also in terms of the young singers Brian Dickie invests in. The 2010 season is no exception, featuring three operas outside of the standard repertoire. COT will make them their own, to be sure.

This company is crafty and creative in terms of expanding the reach and access to our art form. Singers, or any freelance artists for that matter, can learn a lot by watching how COT markets, promotes, and presents their fantastic season.
